About this Job

General office duties, reception, customer service. Production of reports using a digital dictation system. Processing of incoming and outgoing mail. Scanning and uploading information to files. Obtaining new file information, opening and closing files. Other duties as required. This positon requires a person who will enjoy a diverse and fast paced environment.

Excellent computer skills (Word & Excel) & typing skills, and ability to produce quality reports and other written documentation. Well mannered and pleasant disposition with excellent people/communication skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. An insurance background or knowledge would be an asset.

Please note that this is a 9-month contract position, as a result of parental leave, that will start in November. The successful candidate is expected to start in October to allow training while on transition. Working 37.50 hours per week, Monday through Friday, this position will be entitled to employment benefits, such as extended health care and dental coverage.

The position is based in our CLAIMSPRO branch office in Whitehorse, YT.
