QUALIFICATIONS

Will be required to understand the First Nation Financial transfer agreement;

Proven skills in developing, implementing and monitoring financial systems ;

Ensuring compliance with all regulators and funding agencies;

Finance Manager will develop and enhance financial controls and systems;

Must communicate effectively, both written and oral;

Knowledge and understanding of ACCPAC accounting system;

A knowledge of First Nations financial systems;

Proven working knowledge of auditing process;

Chartered Accountant Designation or better;

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

Valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s licence

Willingness to travel

Supervisory skills
