Blood Ties Four Directions Centre is looking for an energetic, passionate Health Promotion Worker

This challenging and rewarding position involves:

•Development & delivery of community & sexual health programs with an emphasis in HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C & Harm Reduction health education in a variety of settings and populations;

•Coordination & delivery of special events, volunteers and fundraising activities;

•Delivery of front line advocacy, support and harm reduction programs;

The ideal candidate has:

•Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and Harm Reduction as a philosophy and practice;

•Solid understanding of the social determinants of health;

•An understanding of Yukon First Nations history and culture;

•Experience working in community or sexual health education or development;

•Developed communication, organizational and event planning skills;

•Some post-secondary training in a relevant field

We offer: a dynamic collaborative work environment, $38,457 to $47,793 salary and generous benefits package.
