Corporate Clerk/Legal Assistant

Working in the Corporate Department under the Corporate Legal Assistant, some of the duties would include daily corporate affairs filings; ordering certificates of status and corporate summaries; handling incoming filed annual returns from Corporate Affairs; preparing documents for lawyers and clients; closing files and other routine duties. This position would also perform conveyance/legal assistant duties when needed.

Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook; good keyboarding skills; ability to perform tasks accurately and in a timely fashion; work under pressure and in a professional manner. Must be a Notary Public or be willing to get certification. Previous experience in a professional office would be an asset. Training will be provided to the right person. This is an excellent opportunity to gain further experience in working in a law firm.
