About this Job
Under the direction of the Lands and Resources Director, this position manages and coordinates the department's administrative records; forwards records to central filing and archiving; provides a wide range of secretarial and administrative support; provides meeting arrangements and secretarial support for meetings, including minute taking and transcribing; and performs other related duties.
Job Knowledge and Skills Required - Education and Experience: Grade 12 supplemented with a certificate in Administrative Services or the equivalent; experience in general office procedures; excellent written and oral communication skills; experience in database management and knowledge of filing systems; experience in minute taking, transcribing and ensuring correctness; knowledge of TTC Final Agreement, Self Government Agreement and Implementation Plan; knowledge of TTC culture, history, goals & aspirations - Interpersonal Skills: ability to meet the public in a professional manner; well developed oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently and as a team member; must be willing to work some evenings every month.
