About this Job
Reporting to the CAFN Executive Director and sitting as a member of the Management Committee, this senior position is responsible for the overall direction to the ECO including planning, implementation and evaluation of all branches of the department. This position also provides administrative guidance and support that includes work plans, budgets, and staffing with the ECO.
Education & Experience:
The incumbent should possess a successful completion of an undergraduate degree in Public or Business Administration. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a senior public sector position, preferably in a Self-Governing First Nation environment is required. An equivalent combination of training and experience, as determined by the Executive Director, will be considered. Extensive knowledge and experience in negotiations and conflict resolution would be considered to be a considerable asset.
