About Us

Welcome to The Yukon Work Information Network!

Background

The national Work Information Network was a territorial and provincial partnership formed in 1997. Its goal was to develop an Internet directory, of national and global, job and career related information websites, that Canadians need in order to make sound career decisions.

Yukon WorkinfoNET (YuWIN.ca) formally joined the partnership in 1999 and has focused on providing people of the Yukon with local, national and global labour market information.

Mission

Yuwin.ca is committed to providing Yukon job seekers, employers, students, career practitioners, teachers, parents, counsellors and researchers with ease of access to educational, training, employment, and labour market related information sources that reflect the diversity of the Yukon's population including First Nations communities, private business, industry, education and government.

  • To share quality, accurate, up to date and easily accessible career and labour market information that will enhance Yukoners' abilities and opportunities to make informed life/work decisions;
