Essentials:
- Grade 12 combined with minimum of one year of post-secondary coursework in payroll or equivalent work experience;
- Experience working with payroll through a provider or computerized system;
- Experience using a computer and asset software, Internet and all Microsoft Office Suite Programs;
- Proficient knowledge of labour standards, payroll practices and principles;
- Financial skills;
- Knowledge of depreciation schedules for tangible capital assets;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Clean Criminal Records Check;
Assets
? Degree or diploma in Payroll and Benefits Management or related discipline
? Self motivated
? Knowledge of Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Government and History
? Standard First Aid
? Experience or training in conflict management
? Knowledge of Financial procedures
? Class 5 Drivers License
?
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
? Mandatory confidentiality is a condition of employment for all Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in personnel. Failure to meet this requirement could result in dismissal;
? Valid Class 5 driver’s license with the ability to drive a manual shift vehicle is an asset- must have clean Drivers Abstract;
? Clean Criminal Records Check
